Day 1

I made it to Houston! Jared and I were up until midnight packing and preparing. Woke up at 0200 and made it to the airport at 0330 with a bunch of other sleepy passengers. Security was a breeze. The flight was great and actually pretty quick. Now I'm just waiting for my flight to Trinidad at 1344. Promised to keep people updated so here are some pics and videos.

In the meantime, I'm gonna charge my phone and look for some wide-body planes at the international terminal =D

So the only plane I could find was a 767 which is a wide-body but sadly not a 777, 747 or A380 I hoped I would find. I flew to Argentina on this type of plane. Turns out that the big carriers flying out of Houston are actually ran by smaller companies and fly to Dallas.

So I had quite a long layover in Houston but we finally boarded another 737, but this one had TV!

The cubby I found (very Harry Potter-like). I had to wait until 3 AM to check my bag and even get into the terminal. Watched a lot of fail blog to pass the time.

FINALLY to the terminal. Took a little nap, but my snoring kept waking me up =(
